America Cannot Win The Civil War

I have been saying for years that America cannot win The Civil War. I am referring to The Civil War 2.0, of course, the same thing the media pundits call The Culture War. We all know what the picture above means: you can turn on any news channel online or on TV this week and see and hear them bleat out their repetitive madness. It never stops. It never even diminishes. The bleating just gets forever louder. We are in Depression 2.0 right now and we are never going to be able to pull out of it with dignity as long as this battle rages on. America cannot win The Civil War means that as long as we are fighting an endless battle that has been loosely based on The War Between the States of two centuries back, we will never again attain our once held pinnacle of economic and political power. This is how we shall ever so slowly slide down the imperialistic drain, like two tomcats fighting in the middle of the road, run over by the truck they were too busy to notice barreling down on them.

There are no conservatives, Republicans, evangelicals, wimps, morons, elephants, or donkeys operating on this blog. There is only one obscenely progressive liberal who thinks The Sixties were the best America has ever been. Although I am a proud Southerner, I am ashamed to have lived most of my life in very red states. I think the Wall Street Evangelicals are a crazy breed that needs to be eliminated from the planet before they eliminate the planet with their incessant greed and stupidity. Not only is it time to stop the madness now that Depression 2.0 is fully upon us, it was time to stop it decades ago, back when the job would have been much easier for all of us!

I define the madness as follows. The left wing donkeys fell off the deep end of the pier long ago with their obsession with race and political correctness. Yes, of course this is a reaction to Civil War #1, but these people have continued to fan the flames with their obsessive compulsions over these issues. At what point do you not see that by continuing the slap-fight you are feeding the problem instead of strangling it? Do you not think the right wing crazies could be at least a little justified in their whining over these incidents? This story used to be about the American Civil Rights Movement. Now it seems to be about illegal immigration. Two wrongs don't make a right, people. Wall Street wants totally uncontrolled immigration for the sole purpose of feeding the race to the bottom for American wages. What part don't you understand? This is the end of my complaints against the left wing. Clean up your act on a couple of issues and your views will be perfect. Bill Maher recently summed up the other side when he said that there are no longer any moderate Republicans. Allow me to elaborate on that: they are all bat-shit crazy, greedy assholes! They may have been adequately represented by the photo above when they brought Reagan to power in 1980, but now they have regressed to what comes out of those elephant butts!

I was paying very close attention to all the news events of the past 48 hours, from the release of the new book by that brilliant author, Samuel J. Wurzelbacher, and the delightful story of a great humanitarian for this century, through the constant blathering over the stimulus package, to the hard-spitball interview of the most famous knocked-up teenager in America last night on the fair and balanced channel. Is it any wonder why I woke up this morning feeling like the morning after a wild party at which I had said and done things that I had rather forget? I think I'll just pour myself a cup of coffee, take a couple of Excedrin, and watch those big fat elephant butts swirl down the drain....
