The Diabolical Plan

Listen up, ladies and gentlemen. Here is the straight story as I believe it to be. This article is about Babygate, Babygate, and nothing but the Babygate. The photo at right is of President George Bush, Sarah Palin, Tim Pawlenty and three other guys in Washington DC on 2/25/08. Notice that seating cards are placed in front of them, so this seating arrangement was no accident. The event is one of several meetings of the Republican Governors held during the week of 2/22/08 through 2/28/08. These dates and events are covered in The Babygate Timeline in Paradigm Shift, as well as many key issues that occurred in the week prior and after this February week in Washington. This story is so convoluted and detailed, and there were so many individual details and decisions made in this crucial time of which we may never be fully aware, that I feel that I once again must state a review before proceeding further.

1. Anyone outside the creators of the plan who claim to KNOW are only kidding themselves.

2. I have lived in The South all my life and I am no spring chicken. I have had decades to observe exactly how the CINO's (Christians In Name Only) think and operate.

3. I simply do not buy the concept that the big Palin secret is that her teenage daughter had a baby out of wedlock. This is not The Fifties and these are not real Christians we are talking about. Even if the bad joke is that she lied to her supporters, she could have still fallen back on the supporting her daughter and sympathy meme no matter how it all went down.

4. This is why I have been sure from the beginning that the conceptualization of the Trig is Bristol's meme has been a scam or con utilized to baffle us all into accepting the bullshit.

5. Babygate nor The Palin Phenomenon nor The Palin Matrix could have happened at an earlier time. America had to dig itself deeply into this delusional economic hole before such a fraud could be successfully carried out. This is why, in order to explain the story in a truly complete manner, Paradigm Shift had to be so detailed and convoluted.

6. We know that Bristol began disappearing in late 2007. Although we know some of the details of these various no-shows, we do not know the complete origin or intent of this part of the story. We were never privy to the personal conversations that occurred within The Palin Family.

7. We know there were many machinations behind the scenes to prep Sarah for the VP slot. These have of course been detailed in the book. Some of the material I am including here was not included.

8. I have always felt that the Walk Around Juneau video shot on 2/13/08 has been disregarded by too many Babygators in deference to certain key still photos taken a little later in March. I think the way Sarah moves, as opposed to looks, is more important. I also think it is a truer psychological blind test for this video to have been shot before the Babygate plot had been officially unleashed.

9. Has it occurred to any of you how little has been done to stop the still photos from March 2008 from spreading all over the Internet? If the other side did not want these photos to be available, why was Palin's Deceptions left in place? This thought has haunted me for years.

10. Why was The Palinbrat Circus unleashed on us? I have always thought the concept of red herrings and deliberate cons and distractions was the answer.

There was an e-mail exchange on 2/20/08 that many of you have probably seen, but I did not discuss it in my book. (I would post the original document here now, but I do not have time to learn how to embed a PDF in a blog post.) The important point is that Governor Rick Perry, representing the RGA, extends a personal invitation to the governors to attend an affair presented by John McCain immediately prior to the RGA meeting and the Gala event with President Bush on 2/25/08, as shown above. Another photo taken that same day is shown below. As stated in the email message, John McCain was the special guest of the governors at the Statesman dinner on Saturday 2/23/08 and President Bush was the guest of honor at his final RGA dinner two days later. Keep in mind that Tim Pawlenty, and many political power brokers among the Republican establishment, thought at this time that Pawlenty was at the top of the list for the upcoming VP nomination. Note that Pawlenty is right next to Bush in the outside photo and Palin is on the front row (while at least one other pretty lady is not, in case you were thinking that was the reason). Note that Rick Perry is in the back.

In case some of you would like to see it, here is a cropped and blown up shot of SP from this lineup:

You can match the outfits worn by both Bush and Palin and see that these shots were obviously taken the same day. You can also see that the large posed photo included Democratic governors, while the affair pictured at the top included Republicans only. You can't miss Eliot Spitzer two shoulders left of Pawlenty. Sarah is wearing her usual uniform of all-black with a bright blue scarf. Make of that whatever you will, ladies.

The point I am trying to make, as I have presented from several other angles in my book and blog, is that the Repubs were undoubtedly grooming Sarah for the VP slot by the time of these photos and events, at the very latest! When exactly did the process begin? I do not know. When exactly was the plot hatched to involve Bristol? I do not know. Some of you might surmise that she was not yet aware of the Babygate plan when she walked around Juneau on 2/13/08, but here she is wearing her scarf on 2/25/08, so she must have begun the plot by the time of these photos. To make a long story short, I am a man and fashion bores me silly, so I don't care. That is a job I shall leave up to you ladies. Was the plan hatched by 2/25/08? I would say a definite maybe. Was John McCain her already established doorman to national politics? Absolutely. Was Rick Perry privy to some of this stuff? I would say that is a strong probability. Tim Pawlenty was simply clueless. As Geoffrey Dunn explains on Page 190 of The Lies of Sarah Palin, six months after the events detailed in this post, Tim Pawlenty would learn that he was not McCain's running mate from a Fox newscast. They didn't even have the decency to tell him in person! I have never felt more sympathy for Tim Pawlenty than I did when I read that passage. It would now be quite fitting if he becomes Mitt's choice.

As detailed as Paradigm Shift is, a number of issues were omitted just because I could never quite find enough verification. Some of these include the Bud Paxson and Vicki Iseman story and Sarah's attendance at a CNP meeting, most likely in 2007. The problem with the former is that although we know a lot of the public story, we have little verification that Paxson actually blackmailed McCain into selecting Palin. The problem with the CNP is of course the organization's relentless control and secrecy. We know that McCain addressed the Council for National Policy soon after his winning the nomination and we know that most of the CNP members were not happy with McCain's policies, even after he tried to sweet talk them with his speech. After McCain selected Palin, the CNP called a special meeting to discuss her future as the VP candidate and they were thrilled. One of the secrets is that this was far from the first time they had heard of Sarah Palin. As I have stated earlier, the presentation of McCain operatives searching the Internet in August 2008 in the movie Game Change may not have been a lie, but it certainly was not the whole truth and nothing but the truth! At some point after a guest list for a CNP meeting escaped its control, the CNP clamped down much tighter on its secretive, controlling behavior. Like the possibility that Rick Perry offered Sarah Palin the free use of his private jet at the RGA meeting in Grapevine TX on 4/17/08, the attendance of Sarah at a CNP meeting a year or more before most of us heard of her is also a strong, but undocumented possibility.

I believe that Babygate was a very complex scam. I believe that multiple babies were involved, although the precise number of individuals who know the details might be very small. I think there was so much sloppiness involved in the early stages, just because the procedure began in far-away, isolated Alaska, that Babygate began with a stumble and wound up being the biggest forced march in American political history. I think that at a key point in late August 2008, a very powerful Republican operative declared, "Fine... let 'em think that." Because Babygate had begun at least six months prior, they knew they would never be successful in silencing the story completely, so they decided to contain it. What better way to pull off this trick of the mind than to let the media think they had discovered a political secret, one that was too personal to be exploited? The media in this case refers to CNN down to the blogs. The big shots were easily controlled with promises of big salaries in the future, as detailed in "The Blockade" in Paradigm Shift. The little guys were more of a challenge, but what the hell, they were the little guys! And so the circus came to town, bringing Levi and Piper instead of elephants and clowns.

No one cares if you call Sarah Palin a stupid idiot or a compulsive liar. Just don't call her a cunning politician who wormed her way into The Southern Strategy and Tim LaHaye's monster profit machine called Left Behind. Let me close with a direct quote from Wikipedia on its CNP page: "(The CNP) was founded in 1981 by Tim LaHaye as a forum for conservative Christians seeking to strengthen the political right in the United States." Sarah was never protecting Bristol, who is most likely not the mother of Trig, and Levi is probably not his dad, either. Neither the Republican nor the mainstream media have been protecting Sarah Palin. They have been protecting the CNP and their ultimate political takeover of the U.S. by the Christian Dominionists. The babies have been holding their little fingers in the dike, plugging the leak that could expose the biggest, darkest fraud ever perpetrated on the American citizenry purely for political gain.

The Flakiest Crust in the West

After experiencing the reflective retrospectives of Civil Rights, The Youth Movement, and Vietnam in the '60's, America stepped off the bus in Hollywood from Hayseed KS in 1970 and immediately walked off into the darkness with Mr. Sugar Daddy Pimp.

I have known a lot of flaky people throughout my life, but the so-called left-wing progressives of modern America have taken the pie crust to an all-new level! Just a few short years ago, I continually felt that this preconception must have just been the result of my misguided imagination, but early last year I learned that the pie in the sky was most definitely real. The Babygate phenomenon had taught me this cruel lesson. The right wing press didn't teach me this lesson; the flakes, con artists, and marks populating my own side of the political spectrum did.

Recent events made me laugh so hard that I nearly fell out of my chair! First Shailey Tripp says she is going to answer questions on her blog for the last time. Then she proceeds to not answer any questions of any significance. Then she removes all the comments from the post. Then she reinstates them. Her particular blogger pals claim to still vigorously support Shailey because only they are fully aware that she is doing the right thing by removing her blog. A few questions arise, but for the most part, only the crickets are chirping. Then the editor of Shailey's book posts in extravagant detail how she had personally given a copy of Boys Will Be Boys to a well-known, award-winning journalist with The New York Times. This blog post was celebrated with great delight by both the blogger and her readers. (Oh, Todd Palin will get his comeuppance now! Break out the orange jumpsuit in his size because this story is about to go viral!) The celebration lasted about three hours, until the word got out from Kathleen Baker precisely why Shailey Tripp had closed her blog. For the ridiculously low, low price of $14 a minute ($30 minimum per call) you, too, can converse directly with the ex-prostitute/masseuse who self-published two small books and now works for an ex-porn star! (Good job, Kathleen. The truth needed to be reported.) The celebratory blog post and its comments mysteriously disappeared! Within an hour, a short post was put in its place. Of course Kathleen's report, and the obvious truth of the whole mess, was not mentioned.

Let's review, shall we? According to the text of Boys Will Be Boys, Shailey Tripp was offered at least $100,000 for her story by The National Enquirer. The editors of the paper later rescinded this lucrative offer and reduced their proposition to an undisclosed amount, most likely a few thousand dollars. Months later Shailey Tripp attempted to auction off her e-mail collection one at a time in what turned out to be an uproarious late-night extravaganza of bidding that shocked even me! I cannot recall exactly what the final high bids were, but they were in the thousands for single messages of very short duration. The portions of the messages publicized for the bidders were of laughable insignificance. One can only hope that the actual full messages offered for sale in this overnight fiasco offered genuine material of value, but who knows at this point? The particularly flaky part is that not only did the bidding go into the stratosphere, but none of the bidders produced the cash after the auction was completed. Maybe one or more of the bidders made an after-hours deal on the side, but if so, I am not aware of it. So ends another flaky fiasco spawned by Babygate.

The next big money-making scheme hatched by Shailey Tripp was to self-publish her material. There is nothing at all wrong with that idea. She should have done that in the first place instead of slapping her credibility upside the head by initially involving herself with The Enquirer. Did her lawyer give her bad advice? I definitely think so. I personally provided Ms. Tripp with extensive advice about self-publishing. Did she heed this advice? Yes, except in issues in which my advice conflicted with Ms. Tripp's inflated view of herself and her desire to make as much money as easily as possible. She priced her CreateSpace book at the absolute maximum she thought she could get away with. $21.50 for 280 spacious pages of a self-published book on any subject except how to pick up girls (for boys) or how to have sex with vampires (for girls) is ludicrous. Anyone who has been around the block a few times in the current publishing climate knows this. It is also quite obvious that any book by an unknown author needs a Kindle version priced very low for that special Amazon market that absolutely dominates the sales of most any self-published book of recent years. Selling your Kindle, and other e-book formats for $18.95 only from the author's website utilizing PayPal is a patently absurd marketing strategy. Any book can be priced at $3-10 in the Kindle format and Amazon pays the author a 70% royalty, which is more than fair. Can you spell g-r-i-f-t-e-r?

Not only has Shailey Tripp obviously chosen a path not designed to bring the most readers to her book, therefore expanding the knowledge of her subject matter to large numbers of American voters, she has shut off the most cost-effective marketing tool available to any self-published author, a blog. Does anyone remember the temper tantrum she threw when she absurdly surmised that the Lifetime network had stolen her story when it produced a movie about a prostitute masseuse on the loose in Odessa TX in 2004? That was almost as absurd a rant as Dr. Brad Scharlott claiming that Trig Palin must be related to Trooper Wooten because a detailed photo analysis of their ears looked alike! Shailey Tripp is far from the only flake on this pie. She is just the most recent to expose her flaky crust in such sordid detail.

NIAFS is an equal-opportunity public service site. No punches are pulled and no one is immune to investigation just because he or she is apparently speaking from the left side of the political spectrum. Nothing has changed concerning my opinion of Shailey Tripp or her book, Boys Will Be Boys. I still think she is basically telling the truth about the most significant parts of her story. However, I have viewed her as one of the flakiest people I have ever encountered since I first learned of her story. What is shocking to me is not that she is a flake, but that she is far from alone among the Babygate bloggers in this respect. What is even more shocking is the degree to which most of the blog cult members continue to put up with this level of extreme flakiness.

Let me reiterate. There will be no Wild Ride published by Fred, at least not as a book successfully marketed nationally the way most of us would so desperately like to see. One of the following issues would promptly halt its commercial success dead in its tracks. First of all, Fred does not own the photos and e-mails you want to see published. Secondly, no one is going to believe that the real Fred is a person who has been consumed by the subject matter of Babygate or is qualified to discuss the topic. The third reason is that real authors do not publish ghostwritten books, and that is precisely the scam certain individuals are trying to pull. Lastly, even if the scam could be successfully launched, the media would uncover the obvious weaknesses in Fred's past in about five minutes with Google. Sean Hannity would personally go apeshit on the air as soon as he learned the identity of Fred's ghostwriter! If you think the right wing media trashed Joe McGinniss in a hurry, wait until they get a whiff of Fred and his pals!

Why is Paradigm Shift the only book that discusses Babygate in detail? I truly do not know. All I do know is that there are no flakes on Floyd. I arrived in California the first time crossing the border into Lake Tahoe on a motorcycle in 1971, and my progressive thought processes were in place long before that. America will never turn itself around in any significant, lasting manner until the left wing stops following flaky leaders. Until that point, we are all trapped being just Bozos on This Bus.

Low Price for a Limited Time

Amazon has recently dropped the price on the Kindle version of Paradigm Shift to $3.99. Who knows how long Amazon will keep it at this low price? Sometimes these price breaks last only a few days. Sometimes they go on for months. At more than 530 words per penny, this is truly the bargain of the century!

Diary of a Madman

The simplicity of innocence shines outward from this photo from a prom night long ago. I do not claim to know the actual origin of the evolution from this event in a galaxy far away, but we all know that somehow, somewhere, this is an ominous tale of innocence lost.

Although I have literally spent years researching and pondering this saga, I am still not certain of many issues that have possibly driven this young man from this pose with his future wife to the deviously controlling man described in Shailey Tripp's book, Boys Will Be Boys. Like any accomplished stealth hunter, Todd Palin has been particularly adept at covering his tracks. When I researched my book on the subject, I encountered stories ranging from one night stands to extended affairs to wife-swapping parties. I do agree with Ms. Tripp about one thing for certain: Todd loves and cares for his kids, even those who might not have emanated from his own genes, and some researchers think there are more than one child in that category. One such theory is that a few years after this blissful photo, Todd would marry someone not carrying his child, and if this is true, then maybe he knew and maybe he didn't. As with most of the ramifications of Babygate, only the insiders know the whole truth. Todd skated through Paradigm Shift because the focus of that book was not Todd or his progeny, and as I said, any tracks through illicit affairs have been obliterated by the wind.

Shailey Tripp tells a different story, one that complements my own book simply because the two share almost nothing in common. Shailey lived and breathed the same frigid air blowing out of Alaska. She has lived in Wasilla, Palmer, and Anchorage. She met Todd just before Sarah became Governor of Alaska and Todd became the shadow governor of that same state. Todd would soon become famous for his involvement with AIP and Troopergate while the Trig Truthers chased a plethora of baby stories. Can I say that Sarah was the first to have an affair, or was Todd, or can I even declare that any affair is a true story? No, I cannot. That is why my book discussed all the speculative rumors. Shailey tells a different story. She does not claim to know diddly squat about The Southern Strategy, the central focus of my book, even though she was born and raised in the South, and has lived there numerous times as an adult. In defense of this ignorance of an overbearing madness that infects people in that region of the country, she has not been politically motivated and she has lived in New Orleans, Atlanta, and Huntsville AL, three of the most progressive metro areas. Although these places may be literally surrounded by the madness of small towns and homogeneous, misguided attitudes, Shailey remained somewhat isolated from the infection. However, it is my impression that she has since learned a few things about such behaviors from the small towns of the Matsu Valley, particularly from an up close and personal encounter with Todd Palin and his good old boy buddies at local police departments.

Shailey's story lacks a paper trail to back up some of the information she has proffered. Now before you people who have already read Boys Will Be Boys and have wallowed in the scanned documents in the Appendix have a cow, allow me to explain. I think this might be the key to why the name Shailey Tripp has not already exploded all over the news. Remember how I stated that Todd has always covered his tracks? He is truly a master at it. Shailey describes his taking of every used condom and gene spurt into a Kleenex, putting it into his coat pocket and walking out with it. (Here is your cue, Miss Stephanie.) Eeewwww! Who does that? Only a man intent on avoiding any future DNA evidence, that's who. I cannot get too excited about Shailey's description of her prostitution bust. If the cops were putting the place under surveillance for two months after the neighbors complained, and then found fifty douche bottles in the restroom and rubbers in the dumpster, I can understand how they felt they were just doing their job. People all over prudish America tend to get upset when someone else's sexual behavior becomes a little too public. Do I think Shailey is telling the truth about most of her accusations toward Todd? Yes. Do I think Todd did an outstanding job of deleting any paper trails and conning a mark into doing his bidding? Also yes. Did the police have the evidence of Todd's involvement right under their noses and ignore it? Probably. Was there enough documented evidence that would make The National Enquirer feel safe enough from litigation? Probably not. Shailey paints a negative picture of Alan Butterfield, her contact at The Enquirer. Has her viewpoint probably been tainted, at least to some degree, by anger, betrayal, or greed? Although both Mr. Butterfield and his employer may be the horse's butts of the universe, and they most likely are, we can never be totally certain of that, can we? Everything hinges on the words of Shailey Tripp. She was had; she was conned by a master.

Shailey claims that Todd tried to rope her into joining a sort of corporate, interstate prostitution operation. On this point, I think the emails in her book validate the story. Of course I do not think either Todd or Shailey arrived at this level of illicit behavior without the previous stories being true, too, and there's the secret and the curse. Everything I have encountered over the past four years with the name Palin on it seems to be coated in this sort of salacious Teflon. Although the FBI would not have participated in the condom and douche bottle raid if interstate activities had not been at least suspected, the paperwork with the name Todd Palin on it seems to have evaporated. All The Palins had to do was sic their lawyer on the case with a statement that Todd Palin's name was not discovered on paper anywhere in the raid. Of course Shailey claims that the most damning evidence was digital, and I have little doubt that that is true. The problem is the same as always. The MSM refuses to chase videos and still photos of sevelte Sarah in early 2008, so therefore the CNP, Fox News, CNN, and the Republican power brokers skate like the wind. In this case, Todd skates away from the Alaskan iceberg, so Greg West rolls quietly away from the approaching potential FBI storm in Atlanta. The cover story is that if you cannot prove the little story, how are you going to prove the big one? Like I said, it is just the cover story.

Certain details of the backstory behind the release of Boys Will Be Boys need to be mentioned. In my opinion, this book was released way too late, but better late than never. Although I understand that Shailey's emotional anger is directed at Todd and not Sarah, to a certain extent this was a losing proposition for a book project from the beginning. Sarah is (was) the candidate. Most of the details of Shailey's book constitute what I call whoopee cushions, political scandals that make a bit of embarrassing noise for political candidates, but are quickly and easily brushed aside when another news story comes along. If Shailey had seriously sought an agent in September 2008 to tell the story of how she personally gave a massage to a decidedly unpregnant Sarah the VP candidate in February or March of that year, we would have seen a wholly different ballgame. The problem at that time was that no one had the guts to come forward, then the book is released three (or more) years too late. In my opinion, Shaily was given less than perfect advice by her lawyer to approach The National Enquirer first because that rag is generally known to pay the best. As we now know, the spiral of silence has blockaded itself into a stone vault coated in lies.

Now that we have Shailey's story in print, there is one detail that particularly bugs me. On Page 71, Shailey writes that immediately following the massage, Sarah stood right up in front of her, wearing nothing but panties. If Sarah was also wearing a bra, it was not stated, but that is irrelevant. Shailey also states clearly that the date was the first week in March. On Page 73, Shailey describes first learning of Sarah's pregnancy on 4/18/08. If this part of the book is precisely true, then neither Shailey nor any of her coworkers watching the same described newscast was aware that Sarah had publicly announced her pregnancy back on March 5-6. Shailey tells a slightly different story on Page 189-190. In an interview with Blade Katz on her Sarah's Scandals blog in February 2011, Shailey clearly states that she left the room immediately after giving Sarah the massage, not seeing Sarah nearly nude and standing upright before her. Shailey says that she is not sure of this point. She says I don't think I saw her in a standing position that day. This is a key point that brings everything Shailey says and does into question, as if her involvement in a prostitution ring with a famous celebrity was not enough!

Shailey repeatedly implies that her memory of certain events was never very precise. That is fine on the surface of it, but Blade Katz happens be a pseudonym for Vickie Bottoms, the co-author of the book! There are many choices that could have been made in the editing process that would have defused this stink bomb. A disclaimer could have been inserted in the interview or that question deleted or the whole interview deleted. If the story was not exactly as stated on Page 71, someone working on this project should have spoken up before the book went to press! This is not a detail concerning one of Todd's whoopee cushions, this is the crux of the fraud that was perpetrated on the entire American voting public! This book may have been conceived and presented as Shailey Tripp's personal little tragedy, but we all know the backstory. Let's not pretend that we don't!

Few want to see Boys Will Be Boys succeed commercially in a big way more than I do. However, I am not going to just sit back and pretend that I don't see the credibility nightmare that hangs over this book like a cloud of illusion pooted out by the CNP. Shailey's book needs to be read by millions, but my hopes for its success were squashed long before its actual release. This is not the time to go into the details of the many reasons for my perception of this point. Let's just say that I believe Shailey Tripp is telling the truth as she perceives it concerning Todd's affairs and prostitution ring. Is that truth obscured by clouds? Yes, but it is still the truth.

The Southern Strategy

Several recent events have led me to the composition of this post. As I am sure all my regular readers know that the infamous Southern Strategy has long been at the top of my soapbox, so it should not be necessary to go over the history and details of the concept again. The Southern Strategy and its enablers in the CNP are of course discussed in detail in Paradigm Shift. However, several particularly poignant events have occurred in recent days that shed additional light on the subject. First of all, Alexandra Pelosi swatted the hornets' nest, as I like to call it, on Bill Maher's Real Time a week ago. She showed a brief film clip she shot in Somewhere, Mississippi, of potential voters briefly stating their opinions of President Obama, God, guns, and certain well established welfare programs. On last night's show, she returned with a film clip of mostly African Americans in New York City mouthing off their support of food stamps and welfare checks. One potential voter was ready for a career, but not a job. The working doorman interviewed nearby was not pleased.

Sandwiched between the airing of these two documentary film clips were a few key Republican Primaries last Tuesday. The Huffington Post did its usual outstanding job of tracking these primaries in real time for us Internet junkies and here are the final results. Since I was born in Mississippi, lived there until well into adulthood, and still have family living in the state, I feel qualified to discuss the voting results of that state in detail. Although the results in Alabama probably mirror these just like the geographical shapes of the states themselves, we are going to use Mississippi as our special Southern Strategy guinea pig. I followed the results as they came in, clicking on specific counties, and the lessons to be learned are pretty much as I expected.

You have a map of the counties to follow along geographically if you wish. Let's start with the Urban, Suburban, and Educated counties. Hinds County, the central county of the largest city in the state (Jackson, with a population of 173,000) voted 41% for Romney and 27% each for Gingrich and Santorum. (All these figures are rounded for simplicity here.) Rankin County (still mostly Jackson) voted 34% for Romney, 32% Geingrich, and 29% Santorum. In Madison County, mostly a wealthy suburb of Jackson, Romney got 43%, Gingrich 27%, and Santorum 26%. Now let's travel down to the Gulf Coast, a well-developed area containing the pseudo-resort towns of Gulfport and Biloxi. I refer to this as a pseudo-resort area because it is so effectively overwhelmed by the white beaches of Santa Rosa Island and other nearby Florida areas. Romney carried both Jackson and Harrison Counties with Santorum coming in second. There are three sizable universities in the state. Do you see that lonesome little Romney-tinted rectangle in the upper-middle of the state? That is Oktibbeha County containing Mississippi State University. Romney carried 35%, Santorum 31%, and Gingrich 27% in the college town. Romney kicked some Rebel butt at Ole Miss with 37% in Lafayette County. Gingrich and Santorum came in with 29% and 26% respectively. Gingrich scored a win in Forrest County, home of The University of Southern Mississippi, obviously a party school famous for being located not far from New Orleans. Yes, I guess you could consider Newt more of a party animal than his two opponents.

Now let's venture out into the deep piney woods of Redneck Central. Ronald Reagan made a point of announcing his 1980 candidacy in Neshoba County, also famous for civil rights murders and the movies made about them. Neshoba brought in 41% for Santorum, 32% for Gingrich, and 23% for Mittens. Ron Paul barely beat out Other at 3% to 1.4%! As you can easily see, guns and war are still quite popular in this infamous county. Clay County, the very place in which I discovered precisely the potential for the political nightmare that would become known as Sarah Palin decades later surprisingly voted 33% for Gingrich, 31% for Rick, and 30% for Mitt. I would have thought Mittens would have taken a dive there, showing this analysis is not perfectly scientific, but if Karl Rove can scribble figures on a board, I can write this article! Itawamba County brought home 44& for Santorum, 29% for Newt, and only 22% for Mittens. This is just one of many counties located out in the middle of nowhere in MS Sant0rum Country. In case you are wondering, most of the difficult to spell names originated with the Indians who were there before the rednecks moved in. Leflore County surrounds Greenwood, one of the richest Delta towns. Both are named after an Indian named Greenwood Leflore and money still supports money. Mittens took 49% in the county, Gingrich got 29%, and Santorum crawled in third with 16%. Gingrich easily took neighboring Carroll County where I lived when I was Opie Taylor's age and everything still looks like Mayberry. One thing that puzzles me is there is a band of Gingrich Country across the southern portion of the state, exactly three counties above the coastline. I haven't personally spent enough time in that area to define it.

That's enough numbers to paint you an accurate picture. The short version is that The Southern Strategy is most effective where: (a) the residents are most isolated from urban areas; (b) the voting districts are small in size, where everyone knows everyone else's business; (c) education levels are low; (d) income levels are low; (e) diversity of demographics is minimal; (f) job opportunities are minimal; and/or (g) the economic strength of the city, county, or region is low and not well diversified. I think these influences pretty much fall in this decreasing order, too. The most important indicator of whether or not a district will be heavily populated with voters who do not vote in their own best economic interests is geographic and demographic isolation. If you look at a map of the Southern states as a region, what do you see? MS and AR have far the least number and size of metropolitan areas, and these are the two states that usually battle it out for the title of poorest, depending on the criteria being studied. Alabama may at first glance look like a mirror image of Mississippi, but the state is populated by many urbanites in Birmingham, Mobile, Montgomery, and the high-tech Huntsville. The University of Alabama and its host city Tuscaloosa are far larger than any equivalent in MS. Mittens carried only five Alabama counties, including Birmingham, Mobile, and Montgomery, while Santorum took both Huntsville and Tuscaloosa! That surprises me probably as much as it does you.

On Bill Maher's show last night, Dylan Ratigan made two wonderfully accurate and poignant statements. He said that American citizens on both the left and right really want pretty much the same things. We want decent jobs paying decent wages in a country that we feel offers opportunity and a bright future for our children, and we want our government to represent us all equally. He also said in a comment to Alexandra Pelosi's first film, the one shot at some undisclosed location in Mississippi, that the voters living in poverty long ago gave up hope that our economic system is on their side, so they may as well vote on the God issues. Growing up surrounded by so many like them, I could not agree more. We on the left often confuse stupidity with ignorance. Voters who vote against their own best economic interests may be ignorant, but they are not necessarily stupid. One key thing they are is surrounded by reinforcement of their beliefs and voting influences. They are isolated into many tiny subcultural groups. Many of them associate little or none at all with the enormous African-American populations that closely surround them. Many cannot afford to run off to the nearest city to play or shop at every whim. They live their lives in a bubble, as Bill Maher would say, controlled by the reinforcement of church activities and the great isolated outdoors. The men shoot defenseless animals in packs and the women gossip about Muslim Presidents at the church socials. Their lives are limited by a lot more than their meager imaginations.

Ms Pelosi said something quite exquisite on the show, too. She said that liberals on the left do practically nothing to keep voters from continually sliding over to The Dark Side. She was referring to those who would sneer at the smart-mouths in the second film, those who said they had not worked in years, but who were walking on their own two feet like the rest of us. The doorman may have had a job, but as Bill asked, how many black people get doormen jobs? One young black man in the film was asked why he did not work and his reply was that he had been in prison and ex-cons have great difficulty finding a job. Amen to that! For starters, let's end The Drug War right now! How many lives do we have to ruin for their duration over such trivial matters as holding or possession? If every redneck in the USA wants to carry a .38 Special, a 9mm, or Dirty Harry's .45 stuck inside his pants, why cannot an adult with dark skin carry around a bag of weed? He's only going to blow his mind, not a hole in your head!

After reading through these details, even if you have never driven through the state of Mississippi, you can guess that Ms. Pelosi did not stop and whip out her cameras in Greenwood, Jackson, Starkville, or Oxford. Of course she could have gone anywhere not far from these bastions of money and education and found the toothless people on food stamps. In a poor, rural state like Mississippi, they are indeed just about everywhere, even in the urban ghettos. Of course all Southerners should not be painted with the same brush. If someone does this on the radio to women, the country explodes in an uproar. We have to find common ground. Dylan Ratigan, Alexandra Pelosi, and Bill Maher contributed equally to the discussion. Even Amy Holmes and the Mayor of Oklahoma City behaved themselves. We should all learn from their discussion. Conquer the issues. Don't divide the country. You know who really wins when we do not follow this mantra? The winners are the one-percenters and the media who are selling tickets to the game.

Secrets Before Your Eyes

This has never been a simple story. It has been complicated by many factors since the very beginning. Those who seek easy, simple answers will never be rewarded with the truth. The massive pile of victims, lies, con artists, and shills is more enormous than anything we have experienced in modern America. Quite likely this is the only blog you read on the subject written by a lifelong Democrat. I am the only one who has never voted for a Republican, even for local dog catcher. There are of course a few other Democratic bloggers mining the same vein, but if you look closely you will see that these were all late to the party. They are hangers on, who have come and gone with the prevailing winds. Examine the bloggers with any real power in numbers and you will discover that none were voting Democrats when Reagan, Bush, or even Clinton were elected. Most of them were Republicans all the way up until Bush and Cheney made them all mad by starting a war with Iraq. Oh, I see. These are the people you really trust. You are pleased with the progress we have made over the past four years. Then you don't need to read any further. Just sit back and watch the movie Saturday, content in your notion that Sarah Palin will be declared a historical monument to madness in American politics on the Sunday morning talk shows and you will never have to hear her screech and growl at our President ever again.

Arianna Huffington is a shill for the CNP and her many other Republican pals. So is Markos Moulitsas. Geoffrey Dunn is a shill for Arianna Huffington. Jesse Griffin is a shill for Queen Audrey and Geoffrey Dunn. They are all con artists of a strange and unusual sort, and you are their marks. Patrick, Kathleen, and Litman are in on it, too. They have all been consistently keeping the truth from you. Kathleen, in paticular, is scared silly that I will blab everything I know. Hi, Kathleen! Yes, I know that it is never coincidence that you seem to suddenly pop up whenever you fear that I am exposing a truth you so desperately want to keep quiet. Just keep on worrying. I have amassed enough data on all you con artists to fill a book. You claim you are just an innocent victim? Prove it. Tell your readers the whole truth of what you know, and while you're at it, explain to them why you hide behind anonymity way over there in Germany. Tell them why you have been using your henchwomen as shills to control the message. And don't forget to mention exactly how long you have been aware of the details of the con.

Hide and watch, kids! The best movie of 2012 is about to come and go. Yes, it will be an outstanding show to watch, and absolutely nothing will change after it is over. That's why Dunn has been sent in to set up the storyline. Let's see now, the first HP article in eleven months, check; a follow-up article six days later, check; a copycat article of the first one at IM, check; copycat article of the first one at PoliticalGates, check; copycat article of the second one at IM, check; and finally, a copycat article by Kathleen of the second one, check. Gryphen so aptly ponders why Dunn is reinforcing the impression that Steve Schmidt was solely responsible for the spur of the moment VP selection. Could it be that that message is the whole intent of Dunn's resurrection at The Huffington Post? All together now, kids, recite after me: "Sarah Palin is an incompetent moron who was thrown into the deep end of the pool. The end."

Yes, Gryphen did ask the right question in this case, but he has not told you more than a portion of the truth over these past four years. Maybe you forgot to read the part about his voting record in the past, or the fact that he posted over a hundred times (and that's a conservative figure) before ever acquiring more than a tiny handful of commenters. Maybe you didn't notice that he officially endorsed Palin for Governor. Maybe you didn't read the post about the birth of Trig. (He congratulated Sarah and did not question the birth in any way.) The first time, after several years of blogging, that Gryphen received any degree of attention was after August 2008, when all of us were seeking more information concerning this farce. He quickly discovered that posts concerning Babygate brought boatloads of attention to his blog.

Since by all rights this should be Shailey Tripp's week, let's focus on someone you think is a heroine for her efforts to aid Shailey in exposing whatever truths she knows. You would never know this by looking at all the Limbaugh rants at Malia Litman's blog this week, would you? She has time to copy and paste horseshit from all over the net, as usual, but suddenly she has no time to even mention Shailey's book, Boys Will Be Boys, in a blog post? Give me a break! Do you remember when she said she could not afford to visit Alaska for more than 24 hours? She followed the exact same path as The Wild Ride, met with Gryphen, and signed her two pamphlets at Border's, but she did not even go look at Wasilla? Give me a break on that one, too! Do you even have a clue how rich this woman is? Let's just say that she easily fits into the 1%, but she does not want you to know this because if you did, you might question a few of her motives. Oops!

Let's bring up Me Again. Like many of the aforementioned, she had an opportunity to make the right decision, but she chickened out. She gave her pertinent information to Gryphen, and as one of the smart ones of you out there so aptly stated, he buried it in his backyard! Me Again, the offer is always open. Come on over to the light from the dark side. Step away from the cons. I am always here to listen to whatever you have to tell me. Unlike all the rest, I am right here, out in the open. Anyone can read my books or blogs. I never write anything except under my own real name.

Maybe a few of you will finally wake up this time. Although I know that the story told by Shailey Tripp probably contains many technical and artistic flaws, most likely there is at least some fire under all that smoke. Yes, she is misguided in trying to focus on Todd because no one cares. They want to know if that twit was pregnant when she got a massage! Whether or not you can honestly answer that question, Shailey, is clearly up to you, and I seriously doubt that your books reflect the detailed professionalism or educational level that mine do. However, these con artists have done you wrong, and I do not mean Sarah or Todd. I mean Gryphen, Kathleen, and Litman. All three of them should have stampeded to see who could be the first one to publish a review of your book, and I don't mean those fawning sycophants at Amazon, either. I mean real reviews. Whatever information is contained in your book should have been discussed on the major blogs the day it was released! I am not saying this because all your secrets should be exposed for free. I am saying it because this is the way book promotion works. If these buttheads don't promote the book's existence, and its qualities both pro and con, just who do you think will?

As of this moment, Boys Will Be Boys has sold twenty copies since its second day at Amazon. Whatever sales occurred on the first day could not be tracked until the ranking numbers kicked in. If you add the direct CreateSpace sales and those of the first day with the twenty, you might be able to double that figure for total sales. Congratulations! You have tied the sales of Bristol's book over the same time period, and Going Rogue has sold the same amount in the same period, and that refers to the original hardback version only! First of all, Shailey, you can wise up and get that book out on Kindle as promptly as possible. Secondly, get it up at Smashwords. That will send it to B&N and other online e-book sources. Be sure to price the Kindle version within the right range to get a 70% royalty. Don't expect any big-name media sources to give it a moment's notice, even with Todd Palin's name on it. They won't. Do you wonder where all the used copies of a book on Amazon come from? Now you know. Your best chances, quite unfortunately, are with the very bloggers who are currently ignoring you and your book. Don't kid yourself; they know exactly what they are doing and why they are doing it. Remember, you had a chance to work with me from the beginning, Shailey, and you chose not to do so. I know more about publishing than you can imagine. I am on your side. I hope your story explodes all over the cable news, but I am not holding my breath.

I never dreamed four years ago what subject matter I would be writing about today. Even as I approached 2009 did I have a clue what tales of mystery and imagination I would be facing today. I love using these little hints of pleasant nostalgia. Of course that's the title of the first Alan Parsons album. This has been far more a tale of con artistry, backstabbing, and deceit. Although it is certainly a mystery, little imagination is involved. As I said, I have tons of material at my disposal. I would like to make one thing clear to all of you. The key is that there is so much information that has no paper trail, and this has been a deliberate conceit from the beginning. The concept applies to both Babygate and the Blog Wars. In some way or another, you have to make contacts with insiders to put the story together. There is no absolutely complete paper trail for either scam. That's the truth and that's the way it has all been designed from the very, very beginning.

Some people have questioned why I dare to attack my fellow bloggers. Unlike the subject we chase every day, the answer is very simple. The truth will set you free.

2012

Today is not only the first day of 2012 and two days prior to the Iowa Caucus. It is also the anniversary of the release of my most serious book of predictions, Paradigm Shift: The Palin Matrix. My statement still stands that this is the only book that tells the whole truth of Babygate with all its background information, suppositions, and possible scenarios. If you want to read about Babygate, Paradigm Shift is still your best and only choice. This article by Robert Freeman posted at Common Dreams today exquisitely spells out America's current economic disaster and how we got here. Aside from the Babygate issue, most of the content of Paradigm Shift describes the same story, only in a more circuitous, in-depth manner. I have spent the past several months planning my next book of lighter nostalgia hopefully to be released by Halloween of this year. This brief post concerns my political predictions of this election year. You can look back at this and laugh at my arrogance at some point in the future when some or all of these have proven to be incorrect.

In spite of whatever happens in Iowa over the next four days, I expect Mittens to ultimately be the Republican nominee. Just look at today's Intrade report. Mitt is currently holding at 77%. Of course I realize that these are Wall Street Republicans, as opposed to Evangelical Republicans, supporting these Intrade figures, but which matters more in the final result, the big money on Wall Street or the hayseeds of a small state with a deeply homogeneous population? The pundits expect the clown car to lose a few occupants within the next 100 hours, and that prediction will probably come true, although I hope not. The longer the clowns continue to clutter up the choices for the Evangelical voters, the better for America!

I am not going to attempt to predict the 2012 Presidential winner. Surely it will be either Mr. Flipflops or the current White House resident. My biggest concern is that the evil Eye of Newt will not be kicked out of the clown car at some point during the next three months.

Robert Reich has stated his opinion that Hillary will replace Biden as the VP on the 2012 ticket. As much as I like this idea, I am afraid I cannot give it more than a 30% probability.

The biggest negative consideration of the Hillary-as-VP concept is her age. I have a very difficult time imagining Hillary running for President in 2016. The person we need for that position is Elizabeth Warren. I have less than zero hope that Warren will be asked to join the 2012 ticket, but the smartest thing the DNC could do at this point would be to offer her precisely the same opportunity they gave future Senator Barry in 2004. Unfortunately I don't think these wimps have the guts. Maybe if enough women make the plea to Debbie Wasserman-Schultz....

Of course I plan to push the button for all-Democrats later this year, but if I had a choice of outcome of Obama with a Republican Congress or Mittens with a Democratic Congress, I much prefer the latter combination. I like and respect Obama, but I am certainly not an Obamabot. The predictions at Intrade on this issue look scary!

My best guess for the premiere of the HBO movie Game Change is 8 p.m. Central Time on Sunday March 4, 2012. Here are the reasons. HBO usually premieres its own movie productions on a Sunday night at this hour. Voters go to the polls in Alaska, Idaho (Sarah's birth state), Georgia (Newt's state), and Massachusetts (Mitt's state) the day before. Voters hit the significant states of Ohio, Virginia, and others two days later. The movie will be on the subject matter of only the last few chapters of the book. Take a look at the complete cast of the movie. There is neither a Barack nor a Hillary on the list! When I first heard HBO was making a movie of Game Change, I predicted that it would be released at some point between Thanksgiving 2011 and April Fool's Day 2012. I do not fully understand the network's reason for waiting until nearly the last minute, but since this is apparently the case, I predict that the key dates listed above will play a part. Did I mention that this date will be approximately the Fourth Anniversary of the birth of Babygate?

With each passing day, I am less certain that we shall ever see a book entitled The Wild Ride. I check Fred's listings at Amazon practically every day to no avail. Of course this is one of my predictions that I most hope proves to be incorrect. I want to read that book as much as you do, and even more, I want it to be widely successful. Will its release coincide in some manner with the release of Game Change? I certainly hope so because at this late date, that piggyback ride may be the only thing that can bring it national attention. I would love it if SP would enter the Presidential race in any official capacity, but that hope wanes with every passing day, too. There is little doubt that she could wreak havoc with my least favorite voting bloc, the Evangelicals, if she climbed into the crowded clown car, but I am not holding my breath. Raise your glass and make a New Year's toast to one more clown climbing into the car!

Weekend Update: The official premiere date for the HBO Movie Game Change was released last night just before the return of Bill Maher's Real Time. The movie will premiere on Saturday March 10, 2012. I missed it by six days. Here are my two excuses: (1) I thought HBO would want to premiere the movie just prior to, instead of just after, Super Tuesday, at which point Mitt Romney will be extremely like to have cinched the nomination; and (2) I thought HBO usually premiered their own productions on Sunday instead of Saturday, and I am quite surprised that the network chose a time directly opposite a 2012 caucus, in this case, what's the matter with Kansas? I was wrong! Can you say those words, Sarah, or will you disintegrate into a poof of smoke like a wicked witch, if you do? I recommend that anyone who has HBO should throw a Game Change Party, inviting all your friends who do not have access to HBO to join you at the premiere!

On another front, Brad Scharlott has thrown down the gauntlet to Fred, his associates, and his followers. Who do you think actually knows the whole story, him or me? Stay tuned to this Bat Channel.
